Job Requirements:

• Must be adept at computer programming and/or in statistical programming languages.
• Must be willing to learn and gain expertise in IBM's suite of analytics products (SPSS, SCALA, SCAPI, etc.).
• Passion for finding meaning in large data sets and identifying actionable results from this meaning.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of business value and how this relates to actionable results.
• Ability to identify or interpret many inputs and requirements then transforming them into actionable plans. 
• Ability to visualize data results into meaningful workflows including charts and graphs.
• Ideal candidates would preferably have a master’s degree in computer science, statistics, Operations Research or other analytics related fields/relevant experience.
• Additional Skills (would be a plus) Scala, Spark, Storm, IBM BigInsights, GraphLab, H20, Mahout, Hive.
• Hands-on experience in implementing machine learning and data mining algorithms in R, Python, SAS, MATLAB/OCTAVE or any other Data Science/statistical package is a huge plus.
